Connect Futures is an organization providing training and research on extremism and exploitation to organisations and schools. They aim to improve school education on radicalization and to ensure that approaches go beyond a “just say no” tactic. The primary strategy for this is to advertise videos and static images on social media to act as engagement points for their target audiences. These videos include the stories of former extremists who were involved with various ideologies and groups.
The Connect Futures website also hosts an array of resources – research, reports and access to courses which help to train individuals working in education settings. Through this, Connect Futures aims to encourage at-risk youth, their teachers and families, to engage in dialogue about extremism, increasing their understandings of radicalisation and extremist violence and building a more resilient community.
